Born, raised in Westport, Ct. Son to Dennis and Mary Grimaldi. One older sister Ryan and one younger sister Christine. Attended
University of Vermont, graduated 2003 with a degree in Business Administration. Skied extensively in the Green Mountains,
Mansfield/Smugglers Notch area.
Solo thru-hiked Vermont's Long Trail (275 mi). Moved To Jackson, Wy. fall 2003. Skiing and climbing in the Tetons, including
one-day winter ascents/ski descents of the Grand Teton.
Climbing in Yosemite including a Grade VI ascent of El Cap. Climbing in the Utah desert including Moab towers and Zion
Big Walls.
Spent the summer leading Wilderness Therapy trips for Youth at Risk in the Utah West Desert teaching, practicing primitive
survival skills. Ice Climbing within Greater Yellowstone up to WI5. Looking forward to the Cordillera Blanca this summer!
I am currently working for Community Entry Services, a non-profit organization dedicated to aiding individuals with mental
handicaps and brain injuries live independently.
