Angela has been climbing for 25 years and worked professionally, full-time as a guide for over two decades. She is an AMGA
Certified Rock Guide and well on the path to IFMGA international certification. She guides independently as a member of the
Certified Guide Federation, works for Exum Mountain Guides, Chicks with Picks, Chicks on Cracks and Splitter Camps in Indian
Creek.
She has led over 20 high altitude expeditions, including 5 on Denali, Ama Dablam, Aconcagua, Carstensz Pyramid and lesser
peaks in the Himalaya. In '98 Angela reached the south summit of Mt. Everest, the second highest point on earth at 28,875
ft. She has climbed big walls in Yosemite, Zion and Pakistan and has personal ascents in Patagonia and throughout the Andes,
Himalaya and Karakoram.
Angela calls the San Juan Mountains home and lives in Ridgway, Colorado with her partner MonkE, their cool dog Chile and
Xeno the cat. Angela earned a Master's degree in International Mountain Conservation for her solid history of service work
as part of her mountain endeavors.
